Ten years later my home-based business took a massive step forward when I leased a desk in the office of a local real estate agent in Old Reynella. Within a few months of this move I had hired my very first staff member. Today the team are located at our own premises at Morphett Vale; providing much more scope to grow.
I truly love being of service to people and I am giving of my time. It gave me great pleasure to grow Southern Property Conveyancing to a point where I was able to provide people with employment, to give them security, and to empower them with skills and knowledge. I spent a lot of time developing a team that take pride in providing exceptional service to our clients.
The opportunity to merge Southern Property Conveyancing with Tuckfields and take on the role of CEO was one I simply couldn’t refuse. I have always admired the Tuckfields culture of caring and focus on always putting the client first. It’s the same culture and focus I instilled in my own business and team. And the combined team continues to put the client first, every time.
Although merging two firms was a big change, our focus remains on our core business of residential and commercial conveyancing and eConveyancing, land divisions, matrimonial transfers, deceased estate transfers and name changes, in addition to offering Form 1 services to Real Estate Agents.
Our team are located across three locations servicing hundreds of clients and processing over 2000 settlements each year, Tuckfields is well established as one of South Australia’s largest and most progressive conveyancing firms.
We were one of the first firms in the state to transition to digital settlements via the PEXA platform, and we will continue to embrace technology and other industry advancements to streamline our business and pass on the benefits to our clients.
Members of the Tuckfields team regularly receive glowing reviews and letters and cards of thanks from grateful clients. We also have a very high rate of return clients, which truly warms my heart and is a testament to our customer-focused culture.
A key part of my role as CEO is to nurture this wonderful culture, maintain our emphasis on continuous improvement, and lead the team towards even bigger and better success in years to come.
I’m so excited about our future here at Tuckfields, and I’m confident that we will continue to grow by fostering strong relationships with clients and referrers and maintaining and developing our committed and loyal team.
