Mum's Always Know Best - A Blog From Tammy's Superstar Mum
When Tammy purchased Tuckfields she was determined to bring her friendly, country upbringing into the business by providing good old-fashion country customer service.
She aimed for her staff to be friendly, courteous and as much help as they could possibly be to their clients. She wanted her staff to be as excited as the clients in purchasing or selling their properties, while remaining professional.
The team at Tuckfields go out of their way to make sure a settlement takes place on time. I have seen the genuine disappointment her Conveyancers go through for their clients when settlement doesn’t happen on time due to something outside out of their control.
Even as Tammy’s business has grown, her team never treat their clients as just another number.
The customer service continues as the team treat their clients as the real people they are. They get so excited when they can tell a first home buyer that their settlement has gone through and that they are now the proud owners of their first home.
Even under stress, the team at Tuckfields just keep going. They don’t give up without a fight to get the settlements through. The teamwork in the office is incredible. They all pitch in to help each other get through their work. Everyone is treated equally.
From the Administration Team to the Conveyancing Team there is always a smile on the other side of the desk; greeting not only the clients, but each other. Tammy certainly knows how to cheer her team up; how to look after them when they need it; and how to provide support and laughter for her team (along with spoiling them rotten with surprises). She’s been known to gather the team to do star jumps together when they are stressed and to take walks around the block together to take a well deserved break.
Tammy has a strong, supportive, happy team at Tuckfields and when you work in a positive environment; that positivity transfers over to their clients and their customer service.
Tammy never takes her staff for granted. She wants to provide them with them a happy workplace so they want to come to work. A blog was written in 2015 by one of her staff reiterating just that.
As a mother and an employee of Tuckfields, I am proud of the business that she has grown. Her small business, country approach continues after 12 years in business; she continues to be herself; and she continues to smile when she walks in the door each morning. What more could a mum want?
